Technologists working on networking and networked technologies at AARNet-connected universities and research institutions gathered in Melbourne on 22 & 23 June 2017 for Networkshop. Watch the video to hear what some of the highlights were for delegates.
Networkshop 2017 was a two-day technical community-building event with an emphasis on technical collaboration, skills development and the exchange of ideas. Our aim is to provide a new way for technologists in the research and education sector to work together to solve shared problems, help institutions make better use of AARNet’s products and services and help AARNet build better products and services for the sector, as well as offer opportunities for professional development and skills transfer. Feedback from delegates was overwhelmingly positive and planning for Networkshop 2018 is now underway.
The program covered a wide range of topics, from new developments in SDN, future network design for campuses, cyber security trends and issues and much more.
