Notably, he led the merger of resources and technology from Monash and Ballarat Universities' IT teams, creating an optimised IT ecosystem for Federation University. Andrew also implemented dependable governance, quality, and tactical controls across various digital/ICT portfolios, resulting in true IT value and cost reduction.
At Australia's Red Cross Blood Service, he diagnosed and resolved a critical seven-year code defect, ensuring an uninterrupted blood supply. Andrew also rapidly rebuilt a fully redundant system and remediated 7,000 defects in Victoria's Public Transport ticketing system, restoring public confidence in Myki.
Co-founding and managing CyberHost, he established a significant private infrastructure backbone in Southern Africa, leading to the company's listing on the Stock Exchange.
