Andrew Tully is Chief Information Digital Officer at Charles Darwin University.

Andrew is an experienced CIO with 25+ years' global experience across diverse industries including education, healthcare, public transport, government, telecoms, not-for-profit, corporate, and defence. He specialises in strategic planning, digital mentorship, and IT operational leadership, driving transformative outcomes in complex ecosystems.

Throughout his career, Andrew has overseen, designed, built, and revitalised ICT teams and solutions for renowned institutions such as Federation University, Red Cross Blood Services, and Public Transport Victoria. Notably, he led the merger of resources and technology from Monash and Ballarat Universities' IT teams, creating an optimised IT ecosystem for Federation University. Andrew also implemented dependable governance, quality, and tactical controls across various digital/ICT portfolios, resulting in true IT value and cost reduction.

At Australia's Red Cross Blood Service, he diagnosed and resolved a critical seven-year code defect, ensuring an uninterrupted blood supply. Andrew also rapidly rebuilt a fully redundant system and remediated 7,000 defects in Victoria's Public Transport ticketing system, restoring public confidence in Myki.

Co-founding and managing CyberHost, he established a significant private infrastructure backbone in Southern Africa, leading to the company's listing on the Stock Exchange.
