eduroam (education roaming) gives you secure, seamless internet access at thousands of hotspots worldwide—on campus and beyond. eduroam in Australia is brought to you by AARNet (Australia’s Academic & Research Network), which operates and supports the service nationally.
After a quick, one-time setup at your home institution, eduroam uses your regular login credentials to securely authenticate you in the background. Wherever you find eduroam, your device connects automatically — no logins, no extra steps.
eduroam is available at more than 100 territories worldwide. In Australia, 40 universities participate in eduroam, as well as many research institutes, hospitals, schools, and cultural organisations.
