Meet Jodie

Jodie is a Construction Manager in our civil construction team, managing the design and construction of new network services for AARNet customers around Australia.

Jodie has worked for large telecommunication and construction companies in the past and says working at AARNet is very different because the focus is on the quality of the solutions her team delivers for customers, rather than on the commercial outcome.

She appreciates the trust shown by her leader, who allows her to manage her workload autonomously and be involved in other decision-making processes, like the recruitment of new team members and planning major construction projects.

Explaining the AARNet culture as unlike anywhere she has worked before, Jodie feels happy and secure in her role, and can see how she can continue to evolve her career within AARNet.

It has been great seeing the impacts Jodie has had on the construction team already, and we look forward to seeing her continue to grow.
